Contemporary Fine Artist
Nathan Garcia a queer contemporary artist based in Gilbert, Arizona studying Photography at ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. His practice resides in sculptural photography, exploring imagery within a three dimensional space. His work is surreal, utilizing a plethora of various processes, and techniques to form his compositions, including film and digital formats, alternative processes, and laser-engraving. Topically his work reflects themes of identity, sexuality, politics, religion, and the human experience. His upbringing as a Mexican American, is consistently integrated within his work, utilizing self portraiture as a means of self expression.
